Bringing Accessibility and Active Lifestyle Together

Ensuring Accessibility & Responsiveness
I started by developing personas, wireframes, and performing competitor analysisto guide design decisions. One of the main challenges was creating a website that was fully responsive. The readablity for younger users was checked using Webfx Readability Test. To make the website accessible to users with visual impairments or colour deficiencies, I tested colour contrast using tools like Color Contrast Analyzer and Google Chrome’s Emulate Vision Deficiencies feature to simulate Protanopia and Deuteranopia. Adjustments were made to layouts, colours, and text to ensure all users could interact with the site effectively, while maintaining a visually appealing design.

User-Centric
The final website successfully integrates responsive design with accessibility best practices. By combining user research, testing, and iterative design, the site reflects both functionality and a positive user experience.
